
He is the founder and since 1986 director of SPEM Communication Group, leading Slovenian agency for PR and PA counseling. In the past 20 years, he worked on 600 communication projects in 8 countries.
He edited and co-authored a book “Lobbying is Hot”, published in 2006, wrote “Crisis Communications and Issue Management” (2000 – Slovenian Edition, 2001 – Croatian Edition) and co-authored “How to Win the Elections” (1990) and “Political Marketing” (1991). Since 1988, he has published many articles on the topic of strategic communications, public relations, political marketing, lobbying and public opinion research. He is a guest lecturer on the London School of Public Relations (LSPR), Faculty of Business and Economics Maribor and other. He attended many professional educational courses abroad. Among others he was a guest of the Bush administration in 1990, educating in media, election campaign and public relations.
He was a leader and consultant on eight election campaigns in Slovenia and abroad as well as editor and founder of several youth and student media. In the years 1987 and 1988 he was the president of the Student Organisation in Maribor.
He is a member of Slovenian and international professional associations SEAP, FELPA (European lobbying association), CERP, EPACA, ICCO, Lobbying Association of Slovenia, Public Relations Society of Slovenia (PRSS) and president of ZOJS – Slovenian PR Agencies Association.
